Acceptance of Terms

By using ROOTAZ you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The Service

ROOTAZ provides a family memory preservation platform. You can record voice memories, upload photos and videos, write text memories, and interact with an AI companion. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use ROOTAZ. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account credentials with others.

Your Content

You own all content you create on ROOTAZ — your voice recordings, photos, videos, and written memories are yours. By using ROOTAZ you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We will never use your personal memories for advertising or share them with third parties.

Acceptable Use

You must not use ROOTAZ to store or share illegal content, content that infringes copyright, content that is harmful or abusive, or content that violates any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and to terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them.

Subscription and Payment

ROOTAZ offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase under UK consumer law. Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Limitation of Liability

ROOTAZ is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime or data preservation. You should maintain your own backups of important memories. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before any claim. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. By using ROOTAZ you agree to our Privacy Policy available at rootaz.com/privacy.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination all your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes by email with 30 days notice. Continued use of ROOTAZ after changes means you accept the new terms.
